Samantha Mohr
Mohr was one of the UGA student. She entered her first pageant following being offered by a friend. The contest was named Miss Columbus 1985. This win made her eligible to compete in Miss Georgia. Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. Mohr received The title Miss Georgia 1985 on 22nd June, 1985. Mohr was awarded more than $3500 worth of scholarships, as well as prizes at the State Pageant. The activities she took part in as Miss Georgia included public appearances at places all over Georgia. Mohr was Georgia's official at the Miss America 1986 pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey on September 15, 1985. Computer-generated models successfully identified the likelihood that Susan Akin would be named Miss America, Mohr's odds were calculated at 22: one. Mohr wasn't a Top-10 finalist in the race for the nation's crown. Mohr's time as Miss Georgia lasted until she succeeded her successor Marlesa Ball, Miss Georgia 1986 on June 28th in 1986.
